Creativity Quotes

The key question isn't "What fosters creativity?" But it is why isn't everyone creative? Where was the human potential lost? How was it crippled? I think therefore a good question might be not why do people create? But why do people not create or innovate? We have got to abandon that sense of amazement in the face of creativity, as if it were a miracle if anybody created anything.

Abraham Maslow

New insights fail to get put into practice because they conflict with deeply held internal images of how the world works ... images that limit us to familiar ways of thinking and acting. That is why the discipline of managing mental models -- surfacing, testing, and improving our internal pictures of how the world works -- promises to be a major breakthrough for learning organizations.

Peter Senge

I think that only daring speculation can lead us further and not accumulation of facts.

Albert Einstein

Course Structure

I have really enjoyed [the course] and the contents have proven very useful for my professional practice.

I ran a half day CPS workshop today – It went really well…getting results that I wasn't expecting. I didn't get time to complete all the warm-up exercises I wanted, but that was OK, it still worked really well…I have been asked to run a workshop for one of the managers attending…anyway I thought that I would just share my delight.

Thanks for this course. I have found the learning quite valuable for my current role.

This was an extremely liberating study subject. I particularly enjoyed the pace and timing of the course sessions and found the content to be highly relevant to my own work. The materials are good and I also like the references to further reading.

Modules are "bite-sized".  However much or little time you have, you can work your way through the course in small bits or big chunks. It is very rewarding because it is so structured and you make progress very quickly.  It is well written and the links through to further materials are easy to follow, and to get back again. In other words, from an IT perspective it is really easy.

I thought that I would struggle doing something online with no face to face contact but have actually really enjoyed it! Who knew?! I have done little bits at work, at home, on the train. I have read all the materials and, to be honest, on top of a very full time job, it was perfect; I could fit it in very well.  I am doing another e-course and will be interested to see if I enjoy it as much. The fact that CPS is an interesting course obviously helps. Thanks!

I really enjoyed this course.  It was a very interesting subject and I really think, if given the chance, it would create a lot of benefit in my company and in my work.

I never thought I would say this but I think I will actually miss this course now that it is over.

I really enjoyed the course – actually I think all our employees should do this elective, as this is what we need in our new “innovation strategy”.

Have enjoyed the CPS course and have even made good use of it at work!
